Cute letterhead

I used hollie to make some letterhead this will be great on natural hair journal business cards I can go on forever. My hat and sweater is almost done need to print my thankyou / care instruction cards. But I need a green outfit for lollie or hollie.

Baby thorpe

I made this to coordinate with the garter st edge jacket I made on the machine. I love how it came out. I guess I need mittens. 

Yummy flounder po boy!

For the babys b day we had a fish fry just a few people no big deal. But I got some flounder from aldis and man I ate myself sick. That flounder was good as hell. I made po boys the next day and those were good as hell. Needless to say I enjoyed the fish. Next I want to try the flounder with zattarans fish breader.

i am in love

i have another one i will upload tomorrow she has a black dress with white polka dots i made the buttons blue and the trim blue I keep finding great.pat files. I am looking for s shiny.pat file so she can have patent leather shoes! like I said I am in love. Her name is debra ann so i need to get a really cute green outfit it is just so hard to pick o ne. And i did fine a green polka dot .pat it is very cute too. I made one lolli that had an orange afro. and i erased the headband when erasing the hair so i have to redo natural lolli to include the head band.

They don't stay babies for long

When my oldest was coming up I was in a rush for her to be independent. But I want my baby to slow down. Probably because I have my oldest to help. She is the greatest! Anyway. He is moving to the big boy room next week. No more sippy cups and learning to use the potty. I got to buy pull ups.

What about pockets

What about pockets with matching edging? Is that going to be too much?

I forgot

How satisfying machine knitting is. Took most of the day but I have a 80% complete garment. I have been trying for two weeks to get somewhere hell anywhere with my second fiona with no luck. This is my first sweater on the brother kx350. I don't know why but it is heavy. I made one side longer than the other and I hope blocking will solve my problem. I did buttonholes! Small buttonholes (only 1 yo). I plan on doing a pink and grey one not sure about doing it the same way. Did want to try my hand at the moss stitch jacket. I did this jackets edging by hand. My thought on the moss stitch jacket is to take away some stitches away from the left side and add them to the right side. I guess the moss stitch edges will be solid. I have to get a yarn needle to finish putting my sweater together. That is my knit night project. Can't wait to paint some of my doggie buttons to coordinate with my jacket. I pray I sew it together well.

Why can't I

My hair is really dry and dull why can't I put some blue magic on it to give it some life.  I put it in my little girls hair. She been natural for 7 years? What is the harm of hair grease?

Fabric rollers

Quick stle wet hair plait and roll. Should help me get a nice puff with bangs my favorite hair style.

Made it with the children at chic fil a came out real cute wanted another one but momma raised me better.

A good time was had

Went to the budweiser superfest and had a good time anthony put on a show. I enjoyed jaheim his back up singer had the best routines. 

Yes I have been knitting

I have reached the end of my yarn. Please pray for me that when I drive all the way to ac moore there will be a ball of navy t&q. My bag tag will be ready tomorrow so hopefully I remember to bring my grey bag. The tag is red and black. I show you tomorrow.

How?

How can I rock this tomorrow? I want to leave it braided for a while then take the braids down. Wish this hat was black. Then again gold does go with anything but that works with purses. Again what am I going to do?

Creatively chic in the kitchen

I bought some margarita garlic rub a while back. Decided to make a fancy butter for my baked potato. Can't wait to try it!

A little better

This looks a little better less pick a ninny. I added a part and made the twists smaller. Maybe this will stop the silent stares.

Just about

Just about have this outfit pulled together. I just need my chunky heel. I will get them closer to homecoming. I will be just about ready. 

So cute

I got my earrings. They in a little tiffany box and everything. I see christmas gifts! Did not take that long either. I want to do gift bags like four items per bag. I can jewlry something hand knitted and whatelse I am not sure.

I don't really like it but I spent all day and night doing so this is it for the week. Hopefully it will help get ready faster in the morning. Say la ve (sp)

Life saver

Or should I say shoe saver. When I bought them they fit in the store I may have worn them once after that and they started flipping off my feet. Saw the heel things on you tube (ms chanda) and tried them honey I was (like my momma said) poppin the most!

Food journal

I am a little iffy about the cover but the book overall is great. I only made it 30 pages (a one month book) and you can add inserts later. Same as the last book with a calendar (only one month though) and a place for notes and pics of your progress. 

Loving the creativity

I printed it cut it and went to office depot and had it bound. I put a calendar in it some note pages a place to put your hair regiment and a place for pictures. I love when I get home I am making a ribbon marker to mark your monthly hair routine. Did I mention I love it. Now I may be bias. It has some flwas my cuts are the worse but I am working on it!

Fish washcloth

I made a washcloth! I have many ideas for these washcloths.
Bibs blanket potholders ok just three but that's alot for wash cloths.
I can't really see the patten with this dark yarn. And just like the pattern said two and a half wash cloths from 1 ball of sugar and cream. Two wash cloths for $1.79. Can't beat it and I have a half off coupon I see more washcloths!

Completed somethingelse

I went to ac moore to get another ball of t&q and they had no blue. I got these washcloth pattens and so I bought some cotton. While knitting this washcloth I remembered potholders made with washcloths. Bam! These would make great was potholders you could pull out for each season! Christmas winter easter spring summer thanksgiving. I have washcloths for all of these occasions.  Pattern says you get two washcloths per ball of sugar and cream. What about bibs. Got pattern for baby themed ones too. Bam!

These are you basic 101 seat cushion covers. I got four seat coushion from maxway and covered them. That's it. I need three more cushions for the bench. Now how do I want to set the table? Let me check out eddie ross.

braid out that would not quit!

This was the second day of my braid out. It came out so nice. I was watching jerseystyles on youtube and I like the way she did hers (it looked easy) so I tried it and I loved it. now I have three sytles for my two. Afro, braid out, nylon puff. makeup looks nice too. I need new contacts. I look like my mom.

Stepping out

I am a big girl now no more pencils or markers. Go me. Mind my line is not straight yet but it will get there.

I am so glad

I am so glad I have another cord only 1.09 to think I  was really thinking power mat. Any way now I have one at home and one at work my phone should never die now! Yippee!

Hair accessories

I know I said something about these yesterday but I wasn't able to elaborate. You know I am all about diy so I went to the dollar tree and bought two bunches of flowers and some glue sticks and went to town. Mind you I bought the wrong glue sticks and I could not find my hot glue gun when I got home anyway. Twist ties worked well enough. I loved the way they turned out! And the fact that I had a braid out that wouldn't quit made the accessorices all the better. I am kinda thinking they may be too big for my twa. I am rocking them anyway! I took some real cute pics if I say so myself. Will post those a little later. Now I want to make combs. Some alligator clips would be nice too. The possibilities are endless.

Too Much

I took 2 co workers some price hall plum ice cream. The other day one of them asked me did I have some more ice cream. He was like you had two jars in the fridge. Wow eat all of your and asked for some more (it wasn't even mines) I guess it was good.

Embrace it

I did not want a sculptured afro I wanted curls or whatever I could get for twist out braid out. I was willing to put the work in. Last night I put a whole bunch of braids in my hair used up time I could have spent with leon on his b day and when I took it down and I got nothing. So I said embrace it. And you know what I have gotten about 4 compliments already. 

Only two laps

I wasn't even going to go but I said why not. I got a mile in. I did two different directions. Left the house and went right (steeper hills) then when I got back to the house I turned around and went back the way I came to see which gave the better workout. I will go right when just walking go left when jogging.

Much better

I still looks like a wish but I have some definition. It still feels dry so I am a work in progress I want healthy soft and definition. Don't give up.

Wash n go

I am feeling my dry hair (yes I have my hands in my head) and I am loving the wavy hair. I want that kind of afro. So I am looking and looking for a wash n go tutorial that I can use. Wish me luck!

Exercise

I did it after knit night but I did it and I am tired. I started my c25k and it was hard even though I have been walking for a couple of days. 

I forgot

Although I chickened out on the afro, I totally forgot that I have enough natural hair to attach a ponytail to! It's the little things. When I get my twists out together watch out there now!
