Peplum!

I saw this outfit in pinterest. So I pulled out my peplum top and as pencil as I could get it for work but I do plan on making one that is nice and tight. I got some stretchy knit fabric from value village but I digress. For my hair I did corn rows in the back and flat twist in the front now I finished doing my hair at 7:43 I just knew it was going to be dry by time I got the children to school no! My hair did not dry til 12. The corn rows were dry but not the flat twist. But I love the flat twist I can shake my head and they move. You know like I got Indian in my family. So flat twist with Bantu knots on the end from here on out. My shoes are from Payless and I love them they are so comfortable. And cute as they can be for $26. I had a 25% off coupon. Leon bought them and another pair of wedges plus jewelry and a romper for anniversary. Not bad.

My take

On this look from style pantry. These were pants to a sari but I seam ripped the legs and made it into a maxi skirt. I think it goes well with this purple button up. Camel colored shoes go with everything. And matching purse. This is my favorite purse.

My fan fiction

As a variation on the exercise, you can take someone else's published story and render passages, especially paragraphs of narrative of at least a half page in length in a point of view other than that which the author used.

I pore over the executive summary for the hundredth time since I received it two days ago, looking for some insight into the enigmatic Miss Anastasia Rose Steele.

I cannot get the damned woman out of my mind, and it’s seriously beginning to piss me off.

Olivia’s point of view

He is still looking at that, summary, resume; I don’t know what that was. For that bushy head, no style having girl that came in here the other day. What was her name again.. oh yeah Anastasia. He’s been looking at that paper for two days now, dang! He ain’t gon’ learn no more about her from some paper.

He can’t think of nothing else. I went into his office, to give him a message, and he did not even notice me. I had on my cutest pencil skirt, button up top and skyscraper heels, you couldn’t tell me nothing. A little irked, he took the message and said, “Thank you”, without even looking up.

Like I said

There was going to be more to come from that $3.50 bag of fabric. I finally broke down and made a romper. I cut shorts like I did before and put some fabric around my top and cut now I did cut it too short so it a bit tight but that is ok. When I sewed the top and bottom together I did not ease it around so I had a lot of fabric left over so I am currently seam ripping and this time I will pin it correctly I am going to go to work and ask the real seamstress what I need to do. Of course the baby has to get in but that is ok because he matched.

A requested ttd creations

I wore my wrap to work yesterday and my co worker was like that is cute make me one. I was like ok! She was amazed when I had it ready for her today. That is just how simple that is and I had all that fabric.
I get to work today and she said her gran daughter took it. She said she has a pair of leggings that will match perfect with it. All I could say was ok.

DIY wrap turned scarf

I made it too long at first do I cut it down to a length of a favorite cardigan. I kinda feel it is too short but compared to the first draft nah it is fine. I got the idea from pinterest if you google DIY wrap turned scarf the tutorial will pop up. Extra easy. I got the fabric from value village. You get a big bag of several fabrics for 3.50. This jacket is well worth it. There is more to come. I bought another bag of fabric when the store has an everything 50% off sale. And it does turn in a scarf really well!

I don't know

If I should be inspired or angry. You know she made this skirt. She does not give a pattern number tutorial nothing. I guess I am inspired. She also made a dress out of the same fabric. I can make a skirt like that? You don't know until you try.

Toddler size non felted slippers

Right now I just have one it is too small for my baby. He doesn't want to wear them anyway. He doesn't really care for shoes. It is a great pattern. I did it in the round after the sole. Added ten rows in st st the two garter ridges. I would love to know how to do them with the provisional cast on for no seams at all.
