Journal prompts can be a fantastic way to spark creativity and explore new ideas. Here are a variety of prompts that you can use to get your creative juices flowing:
1. **Dream Diary**: Write about a dream you had recently, no matter how strange or unclear. Then, expand on it, creating a story or concept that could be turned into a creative project.
2. **Letter to Your Future Self**: Write a letter to yourself ten years from now. What do you hope to have achieved? How do you imagine your life? This can help you clarify your long-term goals and aspirations.
3. **Reimagined Endings**: Think of a book, movie, or story that didn't end the way you wanted. Rewrite the ending in a way that satisfies you or takes the narrative in a completely different direction.
4. **Sensory Exploration**: Choose an object in your room. Spend five minutes writing about it using all five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. This exercise can deepen your descriptive abilities and attention to detail.
5. **Unlikely Conversations**: Imagine a conversation between two historical figures who would never have met in real life. What would they discuss? How would their perspectives clash or complement each other?
6. **Creative Constraints**: Write a short story or poem that includes three specific elements (e.g., a key, a phone call, and a farewell). Constraints can often fuel creativity by forcing you to think outside the box.
7. **Artistic Reflection**: Choose a piece of art that resonates with you (it can be a painting, sculpture, song, etc.). Write about how it makes you feel, what you think the artist was trying to convey, and what personal or historical context you believe adds depth to the work.
8. **In Another's Shoes**: Write from the perspective of someone radically different from you. This could be someone from another era, a fictional character, or even an inanimate object. What would their daily life look like? What concerns and joys would they have?
9. **The Road Not Taken**: Think about a significant decision you made in your life. Write about the path you didn't take. How would your life be different?
10. **Mind Map Madness**: Start with a single word or concept in the center of a page. Branch out with any and all words, ideas, or doodles that come to mind, creating a sprawling mind map. Then, write a journal entry inspired by this map.
11. **Escapist Fantasy**: Create a detailed description of your ideal fantasy world. What rules govern this universe? What creatures or characters inhabit it? How does it differ from the real world?
12. **Invent a Holiday**: Invent a new holiday, including how it's celebrated, its traditions, and its origins. This can be a fun way to explore cultural values and societal norms.
13. **The Unsent Letter**: Write a letter to someone you've lost touch with or someone you never got the chance to say something important to. You don't have to send it, but it can be a cathartic way to express unresolved feelings.
14. **A Day in Reverse**: Write about your day, but start from the moment before you go to bed and work your way back to the moment you woke up.
15. **Alternative Lives**: Imagine you had chosen a completely different career path. What would your daily routine look like? What new challenges and joys would you encounter?
These prompts can be adapted and expanded in countless ways to suit your personal interests and creative goals. Posh by Portia was on Tik Tok live recreating said cropped hoodie. I used a template from Canva.com. I only had to add the dolls. These dolls I made myself and (cheap plug) you can buy them from my shop at www. cr8tivelychic.com.

I do not have a cinch but I have an Ibico machine and it does coil and comb binding. Luck would have it these click combs (?) fit great and easy to modify with scissors.

The cover is right on time because I didnt know how to create the tent part. but I did not let up and found a printable template online.

You assemble a desk calendar the same way you assemble a notebook the tent and the cover face to face so the center of the wire/click comb is hidden in the middle.

Last year I made an actual boot cover but there was a seam in the middle. That would not have worked for the sequins I had. Plus my sequins were not stretchy.

I decided to tackle it once again. I saw this video and thought hmmm why not try.

BAM! So... what did I do? I actually used a legging pattern Pegs ( this is a free pattern) I traced the pattern from the shortie down and added ten inches for my foot then round off the pattern (with a plate use what you have).

I put the shoe in the sock and cut a tiny hole in the seam at the heel. Viola!

These took about one yard of two-way stretch fabric and they do not have a band at the top. With that legging pattern, you could theoretically make a pair of the Balenciaga pants boots. Maybe for CIAA? Too much?

Anyway if you are still reading here is one more pair I made. This was less than a yard (I did not measure) I was able to make the band. Still may add elastic in the band. I really love the slouchy look.

I saw Bag Junki make a mermaid sequin clutch. Hers is better (sequins on both sides). Anyway I thought oooh I can make that with those same pillows in Hobby Lobby just add a zipper. Pillow cover is less work but sequins only on one side. Oh and only $5 on Ebay! you can also find a mermaid sequin pillow at Walmart for $10. This is the light weight M7262 I mentioned in the last post. Came out great. I really want to make another one but that maybe going too far. I am now thinking of a M6844 view B nice simple cardi. I have some nice sweater knit that is the fall burgundy/wine color that is trending this fall. But I am not sure if I want to do a sweater dress with that. I have styled both waterfall cardis with black dresses I need to pin other ways to style these.

Although I am in school I am going to squeeze in some sewing. Just back from the beach and I stayed up all night because I was bound and determined to get in some sewing Lol! The pattern I used was M7262. The fabric is from fabric mart. It an easy pattern. Seeing how I left off the buttons. Just going to wear it open. I have been saying for some time now that I need to step up my cardigan game. This pattern was very big last fall. I can see why some people made so many. I have a lighter weight one made with mesh knit planned for tonight.
I am currently thinking how to reduce it down to just two books my journal and my planner. I need either to add a small piece to the back or make a whole new cover. Right now I have my journal (the pic on the front is not mines I copied it for Erra the creator on Instagram I love her art work),
