I only put in 16 chunky twist top pic when I first took them down bottom pic end of the day before I re twisted. I twisted on freshly washed hair using motions leave in conditioner, shea butter black gel mix and grease (yes grease I am not proud) on the ends I also dusted my ends. Not bad.

Looks like you have 4b - 4c type hair like mines. I do smaller twists so as I do not have to disturb them after untwisting -the more touching I do the frizzier my hair becomes - I also find if I do smaller twist is just looks neater all the way around - would love to send you a pic so that you can see
