I am in love with chalkboard! I also saw this leather look on zazzle I think and had to have it.  I am on my way to office depot for a white sharpie! oh and the chalkboard note card has  a mint green polka dot back! I am going nuts over mint green.  I tried the other day to dye some tulle mint green .  It was a no go.  I may make my daughter something out of the green tulle or some green french poufs.  It will not go to waste.

Bday gifts

I made a lined knit cap and a faux leather clutch. I used the dontae pattern by Nicole Reeves. I would like to sell my faux leather clutches I need more practice.

Berets

Co worker wanted one for his daughter these are her school colors. I made one with g hook and one with j hook not sure how big she would like it.

CIAA

This is what I wore to CIAA.  I wanted to wear this to the Chrisette Michelle Concert but things went awry which is great because I got to wear it for CIAA. Wet look (leather) leggings Lace peplum and heels.  Pretty simple. 

DVF inspiration progress

So I made a dress before I ordered my fabric. Not bad. Made the skirt wider and longer. It is not finished I still have to hem the top and the bottom of the skirt going to put a string in the back to keep the arms up. Need to fix a pucker in the arm but all in all I am happy with it and can't wait to wear it. Oh and I added pockets! Those came out great. This was my first time putting sleeves on anything and it was not easy.

my DVF inspired dress

ok mimi and adreinne(sp) have made an dvf inspired dress(brown and white maxi dress). I saw this faux wrap dress pattern on pinterest (of course) and I would like to give it a go. with the fabric (pictured here) this fabric is only $5 a yard I need at least two yards. The pattern is a size ten and it is not maxi length. I can fix the maxi length part but the size ten... I hope this fabric has a bunch of stretch or it will be come my weight loss inspiration piece. either way i have to have it.

My off center granny square

I think with these colors it is not that easy to see. This will probably be a pillow. For my skirt I want to use berrocco vintage the same yarn I used for my everyway wrap.Upon further investigation i think i did my square wrong.  Looking at my example it looks just like the skirt but my square does not.  And if you look at my join row it is all jacked.  I am going to make it again this times without a baby on my lap.

a great idea

this skirt doesn't seem all that hard it took me a minute to figured out this off center square   I found a diagram online and i still had to look at it for a minute.  I just need yarn.  I think I want to do granny square in the front and back or jersey knit.  I still have that jersey knit sheet.  the grey granny square skirt will be perfect for my grey jersey knit sheet!

Freezer cooking

Playing in makeup

I was having a ball playing in makeup I even put on eyelashes and did my hair I am loving the pink lipstick.

We got a bit if snow here in NC but that did not stop my style me Friday.

I loved this look. I am planning on making a Lucy hat to match hers and of course the baby had to get in the picture too.

My third azara scarf

This scarf is at least 60" long yet I am on my third one with two more to make. That how it is when you have an easy mindless knitting project! The husband wants a black one and I want a cream one. Using 13s it only takes two balls of Caron simply soft.

I have plans

Saw this on pinterest of course and then these ties on eBay $2 ea I thought why not. Black top black pencil skirt sliver black polka dot tie switch out black top for white top and sliver tie for black tie bam!
