B day out fit

Ok the plan was to wear this for my date with hubby on my bday but I was unable to finish it in time.

Just being creative

I follow irockoutnikki on Instagram the dope girl tees are her creation and I made some local ones and some Greek ones. You know just playing around like I do. I thought I could not hurt to show what I did so I emailed them to her. I mentioned how she was looking for interns a while back and here were a few of my ideas. She responded back wanting to know if I was interested in being an I rock out apparel intern. I was like awww!
You know I had to get a creatively chic one in the next three are some local high schools and of course starting with the best DST I added some Greek ones that was pretty fun!

Da da da

Even though this is not going to make it to sports center (da da da) it should this jacket right here well you know the rest. I may try to reconstruct and over size blazer just seam rip and got at it but upon looking at my blazers they already have a bunch of seams. We will see.

Sequin joggers

Finally made them. Put knit cuffs on the bottom like Erica B did on her black ones. I love how they came out. I did not make a lining but I will when I make my jumpsuit I forgot how transparent this fabric is. I will make my faux leather joggers this week I need them for homecoming.

I made this skirt. It used to be a pair of Capri pants from a thrift store. Loved this idea from Pinterest and pulled this together.

Oh yeah

That is navy blue sequins 2 yds and 15". I am 3" short of 2 1/2 but am going to make it work. This is for my sequin pair of joggers view b. Sequins was 40% off plus a 15% off coupon sequin joggers for $9.16! Boo Ya! Yes I am excited over fabric.

Sold a tutu

Read a quote that said I'd rather live a life oh wells than a life of what ifs. So I asked a photographer at work if he did baby photo shoots and then asked was he interested in baby props he said bring some in. I did and he bought one of my baby tutus. Oh yeah! I want to find a baby plaid button up add a onesie snap bottom and bam cute baby on trend.

Diy slouchy pants

I wore my muslin to the game last night. Yea I wore three inch heels to a football game. Those football games are a fashion show. I fit right in. My flat twist out came out great!

Third pair

I want to make my third pair of slouchy pants with this fabric. I know it is pink and green see as I type this I am already thinking I am not going to make them even though I have this pink button up top nude shoes and by Thursday a flat twist out that won't quit. Lol!

Take 2

This is my second time doing m6291. I did size small and view b ( Capri length). I am sticking with size m. Small I had to squeeze over my behind. The kids were laughing at me. But it was fine on my waist.i am still wearing them. I do not have stretch leather so I am terrified of popping a seam. I want to try one more time. Size m view b. One more thing sequin joggers.

iPhone wallet

I made the green one first too small for my phone in the otter box. I drafted a pattern for mine in its case. I like but it can't hold all of my cards I have in my wallet but it should be great for going out!

Leather jogger muslin

I want some leather joggers/sweatpants I was not sure what size I cut the M first now I want another cute sheet to cut the small. Value village here I come.
This was my first time doing pleats. I was so scared but it came out great.

Transition to fall

Wore my tribal print maxi with a sweater today since it is now breezy in the mornings. Came out cute. Still have my toes out though. Hey I said transition.

Constant learning

I know right! But this is only half I used a whole skein of red heart super saver doubled and I only got 53". I need one more skein and then I will be happy. I will show you my Pinspiration once I am finished. You know it came from Pinterest don't act surprised! Lol

Right quick

 I made a top out the skirt from a dress I got from the thrift store. The idea came from Shay She is my best friend in my head.I also made these shorts.  Just cut a pair of Capri's into shorts.  I did a double seam they look so store bought. LOL!
