Homemade mini

I was going for a longer pencil skirt. But I am broke do I made it out of an old t shirt of Leon's. Don't mind the background. Where I am going in this mini I don't know.

Bunny tail

Took a lot of combing to get my hair this far back and I had to tie it down to flatten it. No I did take all that time to grow my hair out just to pull it out with pony tails and puffs. But I was just excited I got a bunny tail. I am going to braid it up again soon.

Shingling

I did the shingling after work I think it came out great. This is how I did it. Water leave in conditioner and my homemade curly pudding. I did comb out my hair after I put the water on it. I also ran the wig brush through it. I saw pretty dimples run her denman brush through her hair for maximum definition It was extra white when I finished but I had faith and it did dry. It still has a smidgen of white but it will be gone in the morning. I do not want to sleep on it. I am going to sleep as pretty as I can.

My bag

It came today by lunch I was rockin it I was so excited. It is lighter than the inspiration piece but that is ok it the shape though and I was worried about that. Ok not really. Plan is to wear with my camel Carmel tan brownish wedges Rain or not. Mad I wore my green sweater today. But that is ok too.
Finished both book of the heroes of olympus series can't wait for book three in oct. what to read now? Oh yeah homework.

Crochet entrelac

Braid out

I did a braid out it came out ok but I still in search of a good moisturizer the one I made still leaves my hair dry. And the coconut oil just sits on my hair so I have dry greasy hair. Natural for almost two years and still haven't found an affordable moisturizer.

White whale

I went to three Walgreens and a Walmart for this lipstick and it was at rite aid the whole time! I read many places this is considered a dupe for mac rebel.

My first pound cake

I used Paula deems grandma Paul's sour cream cake recipe. Cale taste great but I over cooked it a little bit and put too much in the pan. I learned something's overall I loved the recipe and want to do it again.

Someone got a new toy

I have wanted a pom Pom maker for a while. Only to realize I make them just as good with my fingers. Live and learn.

This is my take on Marsha ambrosia style. Not bad need to wet the whole wig and let it dry and puff up just right. I need to learn how to do my baby hairs.

This is what we had at our bake sales in national city,ca. Oranges with saladitos in the middle sprinkled with chilli powder. Good times!

Maybe Super Bowl outfit

This is my take on the outfit firm pinterest. I am going to do a tank top instead of tee shirt. Wish I had a v neck tee. I may wear this but really do not to wear my heels in the mud. See my dilemma.

My zebra hat

I saw such a cute hat on pinterest. All the Zebra hats I saw were crocheted but me being me I had to be different.

Baby zebra hat

I saw this hat on pinterest and had to have it. It is actually crocheted but I wanted to knit it. I need a boy hat as well not really sure about making a zebra boy hat.

New do

I lucked up and got a croc flat iron for $5. So the plan was when I bought the kinky straight hair I was going to flat iron it. But I got to playing with my current wig and did a test swatch. It curled backed up when I conditioned it so to me that was a go. So there you have it. I wanted a side part anyway. Although I am not to sure how the tracks are laying I think you can see them. Love how the braids came out. Going to keep it like that and not crochet any hair on them. We will see. I was worried about my base not being braided real small. It looks ok to me. I think I need a second opinion. I will get one at work best believe.

Cowl scarf vest idk real picture heavy

I love it. when I twist it look how cute but because it is a circle look at the back.... I know a mess. It is super long but that did not bother me. I consider Camo to be a neutral. I saw one lady wear her Camo jacket with a white button up and pencil skirt I was going for that. It was too late to pull that together just went for the basic color. With it being circle it kind of gives you pockets. The last picture shows what I originally intended for this piece. I do say it came out nice.

Shellac

Saw a place doing shells for $20. It is $26 anywhere else and I never had it before thought $20 was not bad. I will put it through the paces it is supposed to last for 14 days at least I am going for February. We will see. Went to ac Moore for more yarn for both of my scarves but they had neither.

Crochet infinity scarf or cowl

It is turning out lovely. I was worried about the rippling but let that to. I am sure that happened. Because I chained with a g hook but crocheted with I hook it is a fan shape versus a circle hope it won't be odd looking. I am on row 11 going for 20 rows that should be enough. We will see.

I did it I really like my outfit too. I don't think I wore my clothes.backwards when Criss cross was out but know at 35 look at me.

Ok

Why all of the pics? I am tired of combing my hair. So I made a wig. I was Bout to give up and do a sew in? (Pic of my base) but another look at my in progress wig I realized I was on the right track. I was so excited I had to capture as I went along. When I made a wig before I used a old half wig this time I had no guides so I was nervous I took it down once. Had the rows too close. Now I just need to tighten up my rows put a hide a track track and I am done. For my leave out I did two rows of crochet braids. Not so easy with 8 in hair. The beauty supply store also had some kinky hair two for 10 not really sure how I would rock that. You tube it.

Machine knitting after all this time

I haven't machine knitted in a while. I want a grey scarf. Attempted three times to make one and one of those times was on the machine. Here is my fourth try second for the machine. The first machine the sponge bar is shot that is why I was having such a hard time I put up the second machine it is knitting so easy I plan to go running with this scarf. I was going to wait and get a new ball so or can be super long but not really sure I feel like it. Nah make it super long. I don't really like taking it off the machine. I have maybe two more times of taking it off the machine in me. So I am going to break for the night and start fresh tomorrow.
