I twisted my hair wednesday night I just took it down. It was well worth the wait look at that twist out. Now tonight put my dollar tree product on and re twist it. That product dries overnight. So I will be ok for Sunday service.

I was going to do  a twist out today but I did not think my hair would be dry by this morning. Even though it was I still decided to wait til sun so I can get maximum definition. I am going to get it as big as I can just wait til sun!

Day 2 of twist n curl

Question I re twist my hair everynight is that a two day old twist out? I guess so. I did my twists a little bigger today I felt my looked real thick kinda matted yesterday so I made sure I really broke the twist up today. What I do it make two twists and then put them on a roller when I run out of rollers I twists them in bantu knots. By baby buttercreme is holding in there still soft and greasy.

Even though

It was not dry my hair came out cute I tried to blowdry it some I guess it would of been worse. Got my stunner shades on wore some yesterday too but my hair was a baby brillo pad. Say la ve.

Twists out

It is a fail I did not do the shea butter mix so it is puffy! It is dry too. May just run some shea butter throug it and call it a day. There are many styles I can do with a twist out. So I not sad at all

Plan b

My hair did  not dry so I am  rocking my hat (chocolate kisses) I will re wet and reroll it when I get home and then see this may have been a do on fri take down on mon trial an error if it does not curl then I will just rock a twist out that is the beauty of being natural don't stress it.

Yeah

I took down my twists  my scalp was itching too bad same as when I did the sewin. I watched one video and she said she did a hot oil treatment because she had the itchies real bad. So now I am deep conditioning my hair with olive oil and conditioner. My deep conditioning regiment is put condtioner in my hair and tie a bag on my head then tie my head scarf on my head let sit for an hour or so. When I get my steamer I won't have to do it this way. Jersey styles said the heautiful steamer cuts her conditioning time way down. I plan on doing a twist and curl but since I started doing my hair so late I won't be able to take my hair down til tuesday.

I cannot wait

For april I am trying to keep hair braided until then. I think I have cracked the wash n go. On the front of my hair yesterday I put water water oil and gel. Today it is soft and moving . I did have some leave in conditioner on it as well. And I used prostyle. My hair is not white it has some shine it even has curls on end like I got some good stuff you know some indian in my family.

Co worker's dontae

While making multiple dontaes to find one my husband liked my boss requested one. That maybe because I kept asking him to try on my husbands. Anyway I made it he wanted his smaller so I made it 90 sts hopefully this is what he wants. Update 3/15/11 he wants it smaller! Man i made it 90sts. He wants a mekhi sized hat.

I watched some youtube videos and I felt like I could do that. So I tired it and look at that I did it. But I put them on the baby and he cried till I took them off so now they are arm warmers for my big baby.

Look at that curl pattern

When I started going natural I did not think I had a curl pattern. The longer my grew the more curls I began to see. So this is me second time doing a wash n go I co washed and raked a whole bunch of prostyle clear ice in my hair while it was dripping wet. I liked the way it came out but it was crunchy. So my next feat is this cute style but have it nice and soft. Shidanaturals is soft and moving. I haven't got the right product combination or budget to get the right combonation but I will get there because prayer works.

I did my own kinky twists

First I did my daughters  hair then I said why not and did my hair too.  I did flat twists in the front and singles in the back. Got to keep lelas head tied up or she won't make it to the end of march. Yesterday I woe a low ponytail with my cadet hat. You could not tell me anything. Need to work on a stylish bun so  when I take my hat off. Anyway I like it. How am I going to wear it next month. Trying to keep it braided until july. Going for shoulder length by july.

Yesterday I raked the gel with my fingers this time I combed it through. It is a puff today maybe the earrings helped. All I know is do it with my fingers next time. I think I used more gel too. It has more curl definition on the right side than the left.

My wash n go

I  like it but it could be better. Do not use pro style two use eco styler I am not sure if I should use oil and if so what kind that will not cause the eco styler to flake? My hoops help alot as well. I love my 2.50 earrings. So rewash it tonight or in the morning and reapply gel in the morning cuz still not sure how to maintain  a wash n go will find out tomorrow night.

My sister wants a basket weave shopper did not think I was going to be able to make another one of these but enoug time has passed and I am alright. It is going to take another ball I am only going to do ten row I am on row five so pretty good. Still have not swatched for the shawls.

I used vanna's choice size 5 needles. Only did 6 rows of ribbing and did not quite complete second repeat of the chart (left off the last cable) I don't even know if it fits. Not sure if it is too his liking or not. Any who I did something.

I only had one ball of lambs pride cotton fleece so I made the pattern with 14 rnds only and t rows of sc around the mouth and sides now I need a bag frame.

Finally started my dontae

I am making the dontae for my husband for valentines day. Never knew he wanted a hat or scarf till I started making them for myself then he says I sure could use a hat and scarf. So here you go. Let me get to it.

I have started my hawiian sky bag! It will be the same pattern as the striped bag but solid. I want wooden handles just like coleens I hope joanns has another pair. I have just the lining fabric. Same as my oval bag which I haven't finished. I need to make another bag for my store. Got to get on the ball need some extra scrilla.

Omg

These dungarees for a premature baby were easy! My first pair I made straight by the pattern baby weight yarn keyplate 2. Next pair is key plate 4 and worsted weight. That should be big enough can't wait to see! Now I am excited.

Using leftover comfort I am making a purple one I am putting the sp1 in between I did not have that last time. I want a red one for teshia and a aqua green one for myself this summer.

For Starters

The starcrossed cowl was a bust. Should have given it my full attention. I am subscribed to alexanderbond on youtube and while she was snowed in she did four videos I did some responses. I did the chunky two strand twist (the pic it is the left over) I also played in some makeup. It came out great! my hair did too. I am using a mix of shea butter and curl activator. The mixture is a bit clumpy but it does the job my hair is soft and moist all week! When I remake it I will use the curl activator in the bottle. That does not get clumpy. I am really enjoying my hair looking forward to july for my first press and curl! I did trim my hair too when I did my chunky two strand twists. My curls look so crisp.

Star crossed cowl

I am finally making this cowl I will post a pattern right after I finish. Same as the hat cast on 72 work in the round three cable repeats end with ribbing. I am not sure how prominent the cables will be with this yarn and I have to line it with I am thinking jersey knit because this yarn has 10% wool and itches my neck like noones business.

My hair growth so far I am about to wash out my conditioner. I would like to save up and buy a huetiful hair steamer. Check out the length of the twists. As a matter of fact check out the twist I got twist! I will have a fabulous head shot come july even april is when I big chopped.

Not deep enough

I made this tam on the machine and you see it just sits on the top of my head. Don't mind the nappy hair I am on vacation. Took down the sew in because my scalp was itching too bad. Currently  I am deep conditioning my hair. Anyway I am proud of two things concerning this tam. I did a circular creation. My first and seam as you go. I but the ribbing on as I knit the hat ( knit the rib first). So it was not a complete waste.
