that was not a bad movie. Tyler Oprah and the director did a good job as if they need my approval. I didi not work out today huritng to bad from yesterday. i don't think raking leaves and level one of the 30 day shred go together. I will get back on the stick tomorrow. Lord willing.

Baby starcrossed beret

the pattern is working up wonderfully! not to far from the finish line. Working makes me too tired to knit in to the night like I am used to. So this hat is slow going. I am ready to start the everyway wrap but the 9's are busy.

way better than yesterday less shaky now made through all of circut 2 and 3 with no breaks decided not to do jump ropes instead do walking in place as fast as I can. so far so good.

Half wig accessories

I made a headband. Go me! It was not hard at all and I can't sew all that great. Can't wait to make another one!

still hard did not meet goal took about two breaks in circut 1 try again tomorrow arms are still shaking.

but my 2nd beret is going much faster than the first Ithink it is the needles the sts get stuck on the plastic needles.

T/J Project 4

today was better. Arms still shaking took about two breaks but later in circut 1 than before. Circut 1 is the hardest for me for me it get better after circut one my goal is no breaks during circut 1. when I first got this dvd I could not make it through the warm up. Baby steps.

today was hard my arms are shaking I hate those side lunges I did all of the last set of cardio so I guess I am getting better . Glad I did it.

I know I know

I know I did not workout sat or sun my excuse was going to be sabbath but since i did not work out on sun i could not say that. Tell the truth lazy. But I weighed in even though i was not supposed to until wednesday cause that is when i started but I lost 2 lbs I am 174! now it will probably come back . I got to thnking that 20 mins was not going to be ebough you are supposed to work out for an hour but it seems to be working. I will work out today. i was playing with the kids and i didisome pretty good butt kicks just cannot dothem for a long as she wants to. I have 8 more days on level one then onto level two. Since I took that two day break I am probably back to square one. But I have nothing but time so hey let's use it. and I started another slouchy beret i am using 9's for the whole thing hopefully it is smaller to fit lelas head. i wore mine this moring mind you I just made it last night she was like let me wear it. Girl bye!

Iabout to not exercise I am still taking breaks I hope it was a few less than yester day I almost did not make it through one part but I am proud of myself for actually doing the jump rope but really happy that I exercised today thank you lord.

Toni/Jillian project

I am taking the 30 Day shred challenge today is day is day one I made it through with several brakes. Then I ruined my twenty minutes by eating three cookies I turned down newvo (sp) to end up eating cookies anyway. Well get back up. Tomorrow is day two. 1 day down 29 to go. oh starting weight 176. I keep eating like this there won't be much change. Pray for me. Thanks for listening.

Fingerless mitts cowl sets

doing my best to christmas knit i have two sets down. the brown pair of mitts came out too big for me I like my mitts snug even thought they will probably stretch out later. That puts me at a crossroads. should i make them big or make them snug and let them stretch out? I casted on 39 for the brown ones and feel they are too big. so i cut back to 32 sts and I love them. I tplan to make a black pair and a cream and black pair who all is getting these Tack and maybe Lela's teacher. Lela wants a set I want a set. the mitt pattern came from Bond Buzz 17 and the cowl is just the bond hat pattern with a few less rows and ribbing at the top.

First paid gig

I made some babyshower invitations for a coworker . They came out great. She told me to go get some lunch. It is only up from here.

Eggnog fudge

it came out too soft my husband says it a bit too sweet but I like it it taste like a cup of eggnog now to fing an eggnog pound cake no no a chocolate egg nog pound cake hey if I exchange the white chocolate for regular chocolate maybe chocolate eggnog fudge now pumpkin fudge ok off to google it. Next time I will stir it for ten minutes don't use the candy thermometer.

New direction

I am going in a new direction really in the direction I always go in I am making a bag hopefully a backpack now although I really don't see anyone rocking backpacks but something says it is still going to be cute.

Starcrossed cowl

I am trying to do knitted items for christmas so am making tack cowls they seem easier than berets I was supposed to do two at a time but it did not work so well I tried it with worsted and size 9 and it came out too small. So now I am at 15 with 2 strands of worsted. So far so good.

Homecoming 09

Livingstone's homecoming was the second week in October and I am just now posting pics. Jill and Ki were there too but did not get to get a pic with them. we had a great time as usual. Theme was flirt. I was as flirty as could be with it being fall not sure if it was going to be hot or cold. And it was Hot on Sat! we shut down both parties. Did not lay it down til 5 both nights i was tired Sat that when Alexis went and got her feet done I went to sleep. And when i got home sun i gave the children to my husband and slept for the rest of the day.

Halloween

Lela and Mekhi had a good time. I forgot to take some shots of Mekhi at the door. He is walking now and so since he can stand on his on I should have snapped some. But lela is wearing the same outfit as last year i thought i would put a twist on it with my half wig from homecoming. She got a better haul than last year. Lela's outfit was multifunctional she wore it friday as Wog from the witch who was afraid of witches. That is probably not a halloween outfit Mekhi has on but it worked and they had a great time.

Another square

this is loser I only used one strand of yarn instead of two. It is cute quicker than double my idea for this one is a faux straw bag. Make these squares out of khaki some straw colored yarn . Odd this square is 5.5 double strand is 6? I was already thinking clutch .

Houndstooth square

not sure if I posted this already or not but last night I did attempt a hounds tooth square. I start getting confused so I stopped. I need go back to the drawing board or ravelry one. I will get it because I am creative.

I have 1 complete 6 in square! I do have to block it there are some mess ups but not bad for my first square.

Weaving

it is almost complete Ijust need to bind off. Next block will be checker board that way I can do do bags make as many cream solid black solid and cream and balck mixed as I can I did it without the hook still want the hook though

look at me I am a weaving. I went to saff and saw the prettiest woven shawls now this is on a way smaller scale and I am trying to make a bag . I need to get the correct hook and it may go faster but I am just excited!

OK

I have turned my ttd designs site into a web site I think i just added some tabs. Right now the tabs are too big but i left my hard drive a work so i can't change it til i get back to work. I had to use a code generator and i could not find the blog design I used so i could extract the butterflies and use those for tabs instead all those kinks can be worked out. Crafting, watching qvc the other night jessica simpson she had these over the bidy bags but now I dont like over the body bags but they are a hppy medium between clutches oversized totes and those who want handles on the bag. Plus I can make themon the machine my thought is i can make them with crochet nylon that way they wont fuzz! I love it when a plan comes together. half wig

homecoming is this weekend and I am ready i was going to put a track in my hair to get that look neffe has but I was watching you tube (I have a problem I will watch you tube all night) and I saw half wigs and I was like oh yeah so that is where that came from. I had to put on some makeup too see all this comes from you tube I am going to have my own channel next.

Cabling on the machine

I used the cable pattern from the bond buzz I really liked it. The cable pattern is subtle . And with help from from the online MK group I did the ribbing with KP 2 and the body with KP 2.5 and they came out great.

Mittens again

I made some more the first one fit but the hat did not so I gave it away so I wanted to make another I made a cable set but in haste made it too short so these are newborn mittens which is not bad because I have two newborn gifts to make. The hat is on the machine right now.

Machine knit haul

got the word haul from you tube make haul anyway Ifinally bought some mk supplies I got the seed stitcher now I can make my anuck for lela. Two prong transfer tools so I can easily make cables I want to make mekhi a cable cardi coat really a jacket claw weights always needed those made socks without them this should make it much easier. Latchhook cause I lost my other one watch it turn up now.

Legwarmers

Ithought that I was going to make these for me made a swatch and everything. But I did change the pattern a bit any how they came out lela size I need to sew them up.

Yeah right

I thought I was going to have the baby a new hat set by time I went to sleep but the hat is too small and too short I thought that 70 sts was going to be too big but no well back to the drawing board. It did feel good to mk again

Hood

first when i looked at this i did not know they were separate pieces. I laughed wondering how does she get into this sweater. Silly me. However this seems pretty simple to make on the the bond so I am going to give it a go. Here are my Thoughts. cast on the length and knit the width. This could be another ttd creation! No fairisle though maybe later even cabled!

Whatever to get you this size just make sure you swatch.

Cast on 19 ½ “knit 32” sew side seam. This is knit straight without the ribbing on the top or bottom or without the fairisle.

You could knit 1” ribbing then you would knit 1 inch convert to 2 x1 rib knit 30 inch straight knit 1 convert to 2x1 rib.

now to begin the other 28 but my arm is hurting so I need to take a break. Even though my plan b worked out and I am still working on plan a I ran out of yarn while on vacation but I still want to complete sweet pea and theodora and put it in my shop.

fiasco to fabulous

i think i have out done myself. i love the bows she has two older brothers so this was perfect it does not have her name but it represents all of the children. weaving in those ends was killer and it could be better. the ducks are not bad seeing that it was a knit chart. i will work on her name blanket while i am on vacation. next time put a skirt and pants on the ducks.

Twice as big

see how it came out way bigger than the green one Iam going to give two ducks bow ties and one duck a hair bow to represent khloe and her two brothers. So my soror won't be empty handed come sunday cuz I only have 3 rows of the khloe blanket done and I am going out of town tomorrow.

Another crack at the bat right from that casey at the bat poem. Anyway I just cannot admit defeat. So the plan is to just follow the knit pro pattern ch 96(98) and follow the chart. I do a whole bunch of planning. See i did three blankets lets see how many get done. Now this put sweet pea and her matching sweater on hold. the name blanket was plan A. Sweet Pea and Sweater were plan C. I get plan A to work no need for plan C!. Cross your fingers.

Procrastination

I am the epitomy of procrastination look up the word and you will see me. Now I know I have to have a blanket done before 9/13. I wanted it ready for today but of course i did not look at yarn until yesterday about 10pm. I was up all night trying to complete something . I did finish the duck fiasco (way wider and much shorter than the plan). I need to add the bills and the eyes. Instead of the doing a blanket with the name i am going to do a granny square blanket (sweet pea by lion brand) and hopefully a matching sweater. I got the idea from lion brand catalog. they had a pink and white sweater and then a sweet pea granny blanket to match. i thought that was cute but it is 56 squares. all of that before sunday! yeah! Well I do have 15 of 56. I am going to try and crank some more out at lunch. I am giving myself until thursady to be complete with both blankets and sweater. I may not present the duck fiasco. Oh but i did make two more neck scarves.

Such a pretty swatch

this is red hearts tweed it is nice Iplan to make a bag key plate 3 is what I used I should have used 4. I took the broken pieces off of my machine put it back together in one whole piece now I am about to start a blanket!

Results

I lost 5lbs on the 6 day detox drop. I do feel better I have more patients with my children. I had them all day yesterday and I did not once regret not taking them to daycare. I am ready to take the next step I need to take pictures and measurements and stuff I want to eat a little more before I start though.
